Historical fort in the Amsterdam Area
It was bombed heavily and badly damaged in the Second World War, but renovations and preservation efforts continue to be made. Although Fort Uitermeer is not accessible to the public, admirers can take it in from a distance from the great view provided by the restaurant PorterHouse, situated directly next to it.
